I'm off!

Well, I'm about to leave for the train station within the next hour or so. The bags are ready, after a packing frenzy last night. It's a good thing that I'm paranoid and that I did a sanity check on the contents of my knapsack, because this is what I found:



If I didn't do that check, I'd be blogging from Guantanamo Bay. My next post will be from India, and I'm sure it will be entitled "Delhi Airport" as I will have been exposed to its madness and rawness.

Introduction

Hey everybody, as you can see, I've started up a blog to record details of my trip to India as they happen. I plan on posting during any downtime I have (and dependent upon whenever I have access to an Internet connection).

I've set this up such that you get an email whenever I post to the blog. I've also enabled commenting on this site.

In any case, I leave for India in 5 days and I have yet to pack! However, I've got all the basics assembled that I need to survive there:

1) Malaria pills
2) Passport + visa
3) Wallet
4) Dad

Am I missing anything??
